1. GOLF PACKAGE INCLUDES

2. TOURNAMENT TIMES

Morning Shotgun sign-in at 7:00am. Tee off is 7:30am SHARP

Afternoon Shotgun sign-in at 1:00pm. Tee off at 1:30pm SHARP.

3. DEPOSITS

The outing will be confirmed only upon the receipt of a $1000.00 deposit and signed contract. Deposits will be subject to refund only when cancellation is made in writing at least 90 days prior to the date and we are able to rebook with a comparable outing and their deposit received. Deposit and paid fees are refundable only in the event that the Club officially closes the course before teeing off.

4. GUARANTEE

All outings are required to guarantee a minimum of 72 players and will be held financially responsible for this number.

If the number of players exceeds 144, a 5 man scramble format will be played. The guaranteed number of golfers and meals to be served must be received by the sales office (14) business days prior to the event. In the event that the number of guests exceeds the guaranteed number, we will attempt to serve the same meal to all guests. If, however, this is not possible, our Chef will substitute a meal of comparable quality and price. The cost of the meals will then be charged to the client.

5. FOOD & BEVERAGE

In conjuction with your tournament a minimum of $20.00 per person must be spent on food. Please see the attached Golf Tournament Menu for prices and selection. In the event that you have special requests our Chef is dedicated to pleasing our customers and would gladly customize a menu for your event. All food must be supplied by The Country Club of Halifax with no exceptions.

All menu selections must be received (30) days prior to the event.

The Country Club of Halifax, as a licensee, is responsible for the administration of the sales of ALL alcoholic beverages in accordance with the Massachusetts State Liquor Regulations. It is our policy, therefore, that ALL LIQUOR, BEER AND WINE FOR THIS FUNCTION MUST BE SUPPLIED BY THE COUNTRY CLUB OF HALIFAX AND MUST BE CONSUMED ON THE PREMISES WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.

6. PAYMENTS

Final Payment based on the Final Guarantee is due the day of the event. Any additional charges incurred by client will be computed during the dinner service and are payable the day of the outing. Credit Cards are not accepted as final payment.

7. PRIZES

The Country Club of Halifax does not require tournaments to purchase prizes in the pro shop, however we can provide golf merchandise for gift packages. Please see our list of golf merchandise available. Moneys spent in the Pro Shop are to be settled directly with the Head Professional only. A separate check will be required by your group for these purchases. Pro Shop purchases can not be added to the final invoice.

8. DRESS/ETIQUETTE

The Country Club of Halifax requires that all participants dress in reasonable golf attire. Tank tops, halter tops, dungarees of any color, short-shorts, spandex and sweats are prohibited. Please notify your players in advance. This policy is strictly enforced with no exceptions.

No more than 18 holes are to be played by a participant. It is the responsibility of both the Country Club and the person in charge of the outing to see that this is enforced.

9. RAIN CHECKS

The are no rain checks unless the course is closed for play by the Golf Superintendent. If the course is closed for play the Club will issue rain dates to the tournament organizers to reschedule tournament. Deposit and paid fees are refundable only in the event that the Club officially closes the course before teeing off and a rain date cannot be provided.

10. LIABILITY

The Country Club of Halifax reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly to the person in charge, or company undersigned. The Country Club of Halifax cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought onto the premises.
